The scholarship supports accommodation and study-related expenses for exchange students in Göttingen.
Eligibility criteria:
The Santander Incoming Scholarship Winter Semester 2026/2027 is available only to:
Exchange students nominated by a partner university of the University of Göttingen through the Global Exchange Programme or Go Explore,
who will be studying at the University of Göttingen during the winter semester 2026/2027.
Applications for funding in the summer semester 2027 are not possible.
Further information:
The scholarship provides a one-time lump sum payment of €1,000.
A total of ten scholarships are available.
The selection is primarily based on the exchange balance between the University of Göttingen and the applicant’s home university.
If the exchange balance is even, academic performance will be the second selection criterion.
An IBAN-compatible bank account is required for disbursement of the scholarship.
