The Faculty of Social Sciences’ Academic Committee regularly recognizes courses that are of very high quality. Under the theme “Good Practice Teaching Examples at the Faculty of Social Sciences,” various types of courses are selected that received the highest ratings in the course evaluation process. The Good Practice examples are intended to demonstrate that excellent teaching takes place at the faculty and to illustrate what such teaching can look like, so that instructors can learn from one another and gain inspiration. The diversity of academic disciplines and teaching methods is a particular strength of the faculty. Not all ideas will be applicable to everyone. However, if some suggestions transcend disciplinary boundaries, the Good Practice examples can help foster systematic learning about effective teaching across the faculty. The teaching examples are currently only available in German.
