Fabio is a pre-doctoral research fellow at the Chair of Development Economics/CeMIS. His work focuses on empirical and quasi-experimental policy evaluation, with a particular interest in inequality and social mobility. His research is rooted in development economics and explores how disparities arise and persist, as well as how policy interventions can contribute to more inclusive economic outcomes.
Fabio holds a Master’s degree in International Economics with a focus on Development Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Göttingen. During a semester abroad at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, he further strengthened his interest in global development challenges and economic inequality.
Prior to joining the Chair of Development Economics/CeMIS, Fabio gained professional experience at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), where he worked as an intern conducting economic analysis on Sub-Saharan Africa.
