ENLIGHT is a collaboration of ten European universities working together to further develop their teaching. ENLIGHT offers you flexible mobility opportunities, courses run in collaboration with partner universities, and the chance to work in international teams with other students on current societal challenges. Study with ENLIGHT
You would like to attend courses offered by ENLIGHT partner universities, gain intercultural perspectives, or collaborate with international students on current topics, but can’t fit a full semester abroad into your schedule?
Then ENLIGHT programmes are the perfect fit for you!
These courses are offered virtually or as Blended Intensive Programmes" (BIPs), which combine online learning with a short stay abroad.

Virtual Mobility
Virtual Mobility means enrolling in one or more online courses at your home university or at an ENLIGHT partner university without having to travel. The (guest-) university awards the credits, and you will receive a Transcript of Records upon successful completion of the course.
Among students who have participated in online courses, 80% report that these cover topics not included in their local course portfolio, and an equally high proportion consider them a good alternative to physical mobility.

Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs)
What are BIPs about?
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) combine a virtual with a short stay abroad (usually 5-7 days) and are developed by at least 3 partner universities.
To ensure that your credits are recognised, please check with your programme coordinator or faculty.
Will the costs be covered?
Students can apply for Erasmus+ funding or, when travelling to Bern, for Swiss European Mobility Programme. All information can be found here.
Is there still time to explore life and the city on-site?
In addition to the very intensive onsite working period, group outings in the region and other social activities are also organised.
