ENLIGHT Sustainability and Inclusion Awards 2026

Call for Applications

The application phase for the Sustainability and Inclusion Awards 2026 is now open!

ENLIGHT is committed to supporting the sustainable transformation of society. With the Sustainability and Inclusion Awards, the ENLIGHT European University Alliance recognises outstanding student-initiated projects that promote ecological sustainability and social inclusion and make a positive contribution to society.

Bachelor’s and Master’s students who have implemented – or are currently implementing – a non-commercial sustainability or inclusion project between January 2025 and May 2026 are eligible to apply.

To apply, please send the completed application form for the Sustainability Award or the Inclusion Award by 15 April.

The University of Göttingen will nominate one project for the ENLIGHT Sustainability Award and one project for the ENLIGHT Inclusion Award. From the nominees of all ten ENLIGHT universities, a jury of students and sustainability and inclusion experts from the partner universities will select three projects per category.

Selected project representatives will be invited to present their work at the ENLIGHT Teaching & Learning Conference 2026 . Participation in the conference is funded by ENLIGHT.
