The Teaching and Experimental Station Göttingen was founded in 2018 from the field experiment department and organizes interdisciplinary research implementation in the greenhouses and field experiments. In its structure, the Teaching and Experimental Station is a unit of the Department of Crop Science (DNPW) and is led and organized by division 7 experimental farms. Through the various experimental farms of the department, the necessary areas for conducting experiments are made available.
The Teaching and Experimental Station has two locations:
with greenhouses, vegetation hall, offices, vernalization chambers, and various processing rooms
with foil greenhouses, workshop, and machine halls
Experimental Fields of the LVS
The experimental fields extend from the Göttingen Leinetal to Deppoldshausen and Marienstein to the external location at Relliehausen.
