A Note on the Date

Although this year's celebration is being held slightly later than the original Diwali date, because the event also serves as a welcome event for the new Indian students joining in the Winter Semester 2025. As the University of Göttingen is actively involved in this collaboration, the Aula am Waldweg, our preferred venue (same as last year), was available only after 22nd of November.

What Awaits You:

Special Guests: We are honored to host delegates from the Consulate General of India in Hamburg and esteemed university representatives, who will join us in celebrating this special occasion.

Cultural Performances & DJ Evening: Enjoy a variety of music and dance performances showcasing the richness of Indian culture. End the evening with the energetic DJ, where everyone is welcome to join!

Authentic Indian Cuisine: Savor traditional Indian dishes, freshly prepared specially for this festive occasion by a renowned restaurant chain in Gö.

Games & Competitions: Take part in fun games and contests with a chance to win exciting prizes!

Kids' Corner: Families are warmly invited — kids can enjoy Mehendi, face painting, and creative activities in our dedicated play area.
